One of my favourite colour palette is Sunset sky.
I love how the blue of the sky and warm, orange of the sun melts with each other… like the picture I took in Cinque Terre, Italy one summer.

So my colour boards at Pinterest is dominated by the blue & warm orange, or light blue-green & pale pink combinations…
(If you haven’t tried making colour boards at Pinterest yet, I strongly recommend you to do so. Quite useful to understand your favourite colour palette, to apply to your blog or room or anything you are designing. )
It is actually not difficult to bring this set of colours into a flower bouquet or table decoration. On table decorations for example, use blue or greenish table runners, place mates & plates, and add pink or orangy flowers, napkins and candles.
I am constantly looking for a way to bring this magical colours into a whole room as well. One way is to play around with the wall colour and lighting – bluish wall colour with warm bed-side lamp allows that sunset feel to appear easily.
This especially looks lovely in a kids room… the kids room from the movie, “Finding Neverland” for example, is very simple, yet it has got all the right colours.
